Aneta has been a cornerstone of ANA as a Founding Member and Advisor. Her invaluable support helped secure ANA's successful selection for the King's Accelerator (King's 20), a milestone achievement. Her mentorship has continued to this day, now in a non-executive capacity, contributing to advocacy, growth planning, and overseeing key initiatives such as the recent AGM, Science Council Application, revised ethical code and social impact pledge, and input/feedback for the relaunch of ANA’s website.

Aneta is also a dynamic speaker, having contributed to several high-profile events, beginning with the ANA Launch Week Talk Series 2022 (Clinical Trials and Psychedelics), ANA Unconference 2023 (Psychedelics), Pint of Science 2023 (Beyond Memory to the Body), and the ANA Unconference 2024 (Keynote Neuroscience in Society). Her ongoing dedication and expertise have been instrumental in ANA’s development and success.

Independent Researcher
Aneta is an independent researcher and entrepreneur with a diverse academic background encompassing applied neuroscience, political science, economics, advocacy and therapeutic work. She has a keen interest in the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, the impact of nutrition on brain health, memory enhancement beyond the brain, and body, and movement disorders associated with Parkinson's disease.

Aneta co-founded a start-up focused on bringing actionable solutions to the lives of Parkinson's sufferers and their carers. This work involves developing innovative, evidence-based tools and resources that draw on neuroscience, technology, and human-centred design to improve quality of life, enhance daily functioning, and provide practical support for managing the challenges of Parkinson’s disease.

In May 2023, Aneta participated as a speaker at the "Thanks For The Memories" Pint of Science Event in collaboration with ANA. Her talk, titled "Beyond the Brain," explored the concept of augmenting cognition and memory through bodily, environmental, and social resources, challenging the notion that thinking is confined solely to the brain. Her work emphasises the importance of considering extra-neuronal factors in cognitive and emotional processes, advocating for holistic methods to address complex health challenges.
Aneta's multidisciplinary approach integrates insights from applied neuroscience, psychology, anthropology, philosophy and social sciences to develop innovative strategies aimed at enhancing emotional and cognitive function and overall well-being. She welcomes connections especially where you have similar research passions.
