About ANA Chapters
Connecting the Global ANA Network
ANA Chapters are integral to our mission of empowering ethically applied neuroscience for global impact. Each contributing uniquely, through inclusive vibrant local communities, creating hubs of shared knowledge, expertise, and resources.
Each Chapter unites academics, professionals, researchers and enthusiasts, passionate about understanding the brain, and applying that knowledge to solve everyday problems, intersecting neuroscience and society, with the following shared goals:
-
Collective Social Impact:
Each Chapter is dedicated to empowering ethically applied neuroscience for global impact in its region, organising around local social impact missions and in line with agreed Social Pledges. The ANA Network will grow to deliver our mission, by uniting resources and expertise, including linking the Network with local partners and collaborators.
-
Building Sustainability:
By showcasing applied neuroscience in society locally and collectively, ANA Chapters act as conduits for attracting new members, funding and investment. This enhances the global reach and effectiveness of our shared mission and neuro-initiatives, ensuring sustainable and measurable global social impact.
-
Creating Opportunities:
Establishing Chapters worldwide creates local hubs of expertise and innovation, supported by ANA HQ. This approach empowers Chapters to be more responsive to the unique needs of their communities, while amplifying diversity and inclusion through local voices and perspectives, led by a local Founding Member.
We invite other passionate individuals worldwide to apply as Founding Members in their regions, contributing to our shared mission. Leading the charge are four beta Chapters, launching in São Paulo Brazil, Frankfurt Germany, Nairobi Africa, Hong Kong in May 2025! We are excited that Dubai Asia may also join the launch!
